The middle school sweethearts who found their way back to each other

Our story began in 2006 during 6th-grade orientation. We were introduced by our older brothers and their girlfriends, who were in 8th grade at the time. You could say it was love at first sight!

We "dated" for a little while, or at least, what 6th-grade dating looked like: holding hands in the bleachers. We went to the middle school winter formal together, and even dated again for a brief moment in 10th grade.

Through it all, we were always great friends and often hung out as a trio with Beth (our Maid of Honor). Chad was our adventure leader, always coming up with something fun to do and teaching us how to enjoy the little things, like having snacks at a lookout spot or driving with windows down and feet heaters on.

During high school, Cammi started dancing more rigorously while Chad focused on biking and his studies. We remained close but eventually started down our own paths. Cammi moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend Point Park University for dance, and Chad attended UC Riverside for computer science. We were both living our lives, learning, and growing.

Fast forward to 2020: Cammi came back to California for a bit and remembers thinking, "Hey, I think Chad is around here." Shortly after, Cammi slid into his DMs. We went on a date, quickly fell for each other all over again, and the rest is history!
